The Mee Kats started life in 2010 in NE England to perform 1950's rock n roll and rockabilly music. This rockin'
trio was developed by lead singer Colin Mee, who is a veteran of the UK rockin' scene, having played drums in well known rockabilly band the Sure Shots from 1984-1993. Colin is also lead singer of rockabilly trio The Skip Rats.

The other band members are Stuart Turner on lead guitar who at 20 years old has quickly become a master of the instrument. Mandy Mee who plays double bass started her gigging career with hillbilly trio The Smokey Mountain Boys
